I have the extreme privilege of being able to work from my home office in Hampton, Virginia.  I have raised three children, one still at home (although we are in the home stretch as she just turned 16 this year!   By working hard, sacrificing and learning as much as I could in my former corporate jobs, I am now afforded the opportunity of being the Entrepreneur I always longed to become.  Some of the experience over my vast career includes Marketing, Advertising, Website/Blog Development, Communications, Research, Finance and Administration.

I tried everything on the internet and didn’t know which way was up (come on, admit it, you have too!).  I have been in and out of “ponzi” schemes (although I must admit I didn’t know what that was at the time); sold the best and greatest “jomba” juice; the super-pain-relieving racket and too many other things I don’t even want to admit to at this point. I’ve met nice people along the way, some VERY helpful, some who are now close friends and some who just kept trying to make another buck off of me (I got off that vicious merry-go-round).  The joys of working on the internet had always been elusive and I had yet to experience the joys of actually building a business online.

I love meeting people who are truly genuine and helpful and I will always give them credit where credit is due.  These people will take the time to answer any question you might have.  It was at that moment when I was following along with one of my new-found online mentors, that I learned where I wanted to take my own business. This mentor was going through a 30-day challenge on two fronts and re-organizing and streamlining her business. I thought, “If she can do this, I can certainly re-focus and do the same thing.”

My posts and content may or may not contain affiliate links, which means that I am paid for referrals to certain sites or products. Regardless of whether I may be compensated or not, I will never promote or recommend a product that I would not use myself.

Affiliate Biz Cafe contains my own opinion and reviews.   Since I myself have been subject to a fair share of horrid promises of “fame and wealth,” I would not want to risk losing you as a reader by promoting anything that did not meet my own standards.
